Reece the photographer!

I bought Reece a camera of his own. It is a fisher price digital camera. The quality sucks on it but the pictures are funny and worth a 1000 words. :) I just let him go take pics of his own. Funny thing is he points it at his face and takes the pictures, I have tried to get him to turn it around but he forgets. Enjoy the world through a 3 year olds eyes...........

Reece and daddy board the CRAZY express!

Scott bought Reece a new train table today, which included all the track and accessories as seen. I am not sure how we were able to talk him into it, but it didn't take that much! Reece has had a few meltdowns while we were assembling it (yes, it came in tons of pieces) but for the most part now that it is done he is having fun. Only trouble with Reece is he thinks he HAS to have all the trains connected. Truth be told the track can't accomodate 15 trains! They keep falling off the track but my wonderful hard headed son just keeps putting them back... its getting him so aggrevated! :) Anyway, have a good week all and we will post more later. Scott is leaving for Australia on Wednesday so Ree and I will try to post some pics this coming weekend. May have a playdate with his friend Maddy who lives down the street, might also get some pics of them together.

P.S. Did you notice Ree's new haircut? Love the buzz! Also, Reece has been doing wonderful with potty training lately! Which is the reason behind the toy, he needed a reward for being so good at peeing in the potty. Go Reece!

Well, Reece has had a hell of a week. Ended up in the ER on Tuesday night/ Wednesday morning. Reece woke up from bed around 11:15 pm, I felt his head and he was very hot! I took his temp twice and it was 103.0 and then 103.6, which prompted the pediatrician to send us to the ER. God, if you have never been in one of these at night or early in the morning, don't go. It takes forever to get seen and then once they see you they misdiagnose your child. After 4 hours in the ER waiting and Ree getting up to a 104.6 temp., they said Ree had a ear infection in the right ear and to take antibiotics. The dr on call wrote a prescription and sent us on our way, which we were happy to leave. Ree slept good that morning and then woke up feeling ok. I scheduled a drs appointment for 1:30 pm that afternoon with his pediatrician. She stated that he did not have a ear infection, it was something called "RosEolla" and that it was a fever for 12 hours followed by a all over rash. We haven't seen the rash yet. Ree did have a hard time going to the bathroom (number 2) on Thursday but after 4 hours of trying, he finally went. Then on Saturday, he was just crying and whining the whole day. Went to the drs again, and it seems he is having some bowel trouble. They suggested a enema for Reece.... ewwww! Tried it and he wiggled and moved too much for me to feel comfortable doing it. Then had the idea of tricking him with a suppository, and that worked. Pooped 2 times in a few hours. All was well, and since he didn't take a nap that day, he slept really well and didn't wake up till 7am this morning.

Now all we are dealing with is his normal cranky 3 year old attitude and just life in general. He is starting to potty train and on Friday he pee'd in the potty all day. Not one accident! Go REECE! We are very proud of him, but getting very close to the end of our ropes with him also. He is beginning to be a handfull and it seems to be getting worse. I hope the next two years go by fast so we can get some much needed peace. 5 seems to be the age these kids start to get a little easier to deal with, not completely but a little. (I am not dilusional).

Anyway, till next time, enjoy the pics of our holy terror!

Happy Easter Everyone!!
